Today, Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. (IN-08) released the following statement in response to the United States Supreme Court’s ruling upholding the Affordable Care Act:

“From the beginning, the Affordable Care Act was not the direction to take the country. This flawed policy obstructs patient care by placing the government squarely between the patient and the physician,” said Dr. Bucshon. “While I am disappointed in the Supreme Court’s ruling today, I respect their decision and will continue to fight against Obamacare’s defective policies to ensure that our nation’s health care system puts the patient first. I look forward to finding bipartisan solutions so all Hoosiers can access affordable, quality care.”
