Dr. Bucshon’s Statement on 115th Congress Swear-in Ceremony
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. released the following statement after being sworn in as United States Representative for Indiana’s Eighth Congressional District:
“In November, the American people sent a powerful message: we are tired of the failed, big-government policies of the last eight years and are ready for a new direction in Washington, D.C.,” said Bucshon. “As we begin the new year, our country is presented with an unprecedented and exciting opportunity to make real changes that deliver a stronger, more prosperous America for everyone. Our work to bring relief to families from the damage of ObamaCare, excessive regulatory overreach, and a burdensome tax code and to address challenges we face around the world begins today. It’s an honor and privilege to have the confidence of Hoosiers in the Eighth District of Indiana to represent the best interests of their families during this time of great consequence.”
