Dr. Bucshon’s Statement on TMMI Expansion Announcement
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Eighth District Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. released the following statement after Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana announced plans to invest $600 million in the Princeton plant adding 400 jobs:
“Toyota is an economic powerhouse here in Southern Indiana and today’s announcement is great news for our community and for Hoosier workers,” said Bucshon. “I’m happy to see this investment will expand the company’s commitment to building quality products here in Indiana with the best workforce in the country. The continued growth of TMMI is a testament to the hard work of so many Hoosiers. With pro-growth, pro-worker administrations at the state and national level, I expect we will see similar continued investments here in Indiana and across the country.”
