Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-08) released the following statement condemning the attacks on American diplomats in Libya and Egypt.  Four Americans were killed, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Congressman Bucshon (IN-08) states:

“I condemn the senseless attacks on American diplomats in Libya and Egypt.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those that sacrificed their lives representing the best of America.  I would like to recognize the members of the Foreign Service that selflessly dedicated themselves to transitioning nations into democracies and thank them for their service to America.

“The United States was founded on the principle of religious freedom and I hope other countries recognize this unalienable right for all mankind.  These intolerable and unjustifiable acts remind all Americans of the importance of defending our freedoms, promoting peace, and spreading liberty throughout the world.”
