Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-08) states:

           “As we celebrate our nation’s independence today, we honor those brave individuals that came together to stand up to tyranny 235 years ago and create anew Nation based on liberty and justice for all.  It is those ideals that continue to ensure that we live in the greatest nation in history.  While we honor our Founding Fathers, we must also recognize those that have defended our freedoms throughout history.  Today, and every other day, we must look forward with optimism and continue working to guarantee the American Dream is attainable for future generations.”
