Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-08) released the following statement in regards to Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana’s announcement to bring 400 jobs and $400 million in investment to their Princeton facility. Congressman Bucshon (IN-08) states: “I would like to commend Toyota for selecting the Princeton, IN facility to create a new production line of vehicles. The added jobs and capital investment is welcome news for southwest Indiana. I enjoyed visiting the facility last year to see firsthand Toyota’s commitment to Indiana. I am working hard in Washington, D.C. to create an economic climate of certainty for large and small businesses. We need to quit spending money we don't have, work towards eliminating job killing regulations, and pursue broad tax reform if our ultimate goal of bringing jobs back to the U.S. is to be achieved. I am hopeful more companies will make similar announcements in the near future as Toyota has today.” Background: On Wednesday, February 1st, Congressman Bucshon spoke on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives to commend the Toyota facility in Princeton for producing their 3 millionth vehicle.
