Congressman Larry Bucshon Co-sponsors Legislation in the 112th Congress

Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-08) has signed on as an original co-sponsor to four separate bills in the U.S. House of Representatives.  The bills are, in order by date:  H.R. 2 – “Repealing the Job-Destroying Health Care Law Act” introduced on January 5th by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, H.R. 127 – “To deauthorize appropriation of funds to carry out the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010” introduced on January 5th by Congressman Tom Graves, H.R. 144 – “Small Business Paperwork Mandate Elimination Act of 2011” introduced on January 5th by Congressman Dan Lungren, and H.R. 217 – “Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act” introduced on January 7th by Congressman Mike Pence.

Congressman Bucshon states:

“It was very important to me that the first piece of legislation that I signed on to as an original co-sponsor of would be the bill to repeal the Affordable Health Care Act.  As a physician and member of the Education & the Workforce Committee, I am looking forward to beginning discussion on a replacement bill that will improve the health care system without costing employees their jobs.  Also, by co-sponsoring the other pieces of legislation, I am not afraid to publically support bills that I think are good bills as well as bills that allow me to represent the Hoosiers in Indiana’s 8th District.”
