Congressman Larry Bucshon Applauds Passage of 1099 Provision Repeal

Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-08) applauds the passage of H.R. 4 - Small Business Paperwork Mandate Elimination Act of 2011 by a 314-112 margin.  Congressman Bucshon is an original co-sponsor of the legislation that was introduced by Congressman Dan Lungren (CA-03) on January 12, 2011.

            “I am encouraged by the passage of the Small Business Paperwork Mandate Elimination Act.  This was one of many burdensome provisions in the Affordable Care Law that would cost hardworking Hoosiers their jobs and one of many steps in the process to dismantle this egregious law.

            I am dedicated to protecting small businesses, their workers, and the American taxpayer.  This bill will reduce the deficit, reduce spending, and reduce taxes.  I was sent to Washington, D.C. with instructions from the citizens of the 8th Congressional District to end the onerous regulations that stifle their dreams.”
