Eighth District Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. released the following statement after President Donald Trump signed executive orders today to begin the process of securing the border and uphold the rule of law:
“Today’s action is welcomed news after eight years of failed immigration policy,” said Bucshon. “President Trump is getting to work on fulfilling his promise to make homeland security an immediate priority. I am committed to working with his administration and my colleagues in Congress to secure our nation’s border, curb illegal immigration, and enforce the rule of law to keep the American people safe.”
