Dr. Bucshon’s Statement on Acquittal of President Trump in the U.S. Senate

(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. (IN-08) released the following statement after the U.S. Senate voted to acquit President Trump on both articles of impeachment:

“Today marks the end of a sham impeachment process that  began the moment President Trump was elected to office because Speaker Pelosi and Washington Democrats simply cannot accept the results of the 2016 election. Even though this is a black mark that will stain this institution, we must now come together and work on behalf of our constituents. There are many challenges that working Americans continue to face and it is our duty to take up those challenges and find commonsense solutions.”
