(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. (IN-08) released the following statement announcing additional funding for 28 health centers in the amount of $10,980,583 by the Health Resources and Services Administration to expand capacity for coronavirus testing, purchase additional personal protective equipment (PPE) and train new medical and support staff across the Hoosier state:
“We must continue to provide funds to community-based health centers across the state in order to increase testing capacity for coronavirus and supply our frontline workers with the proper PPE they need to stay safe as they care for our fellow Hoosiers. The importance of testing Hoosiers is the difference between life and death for the most vulnerable among us. I am pleased to see Health Resources and Services Administration provide these additional funds for Clinton, Fort Branch, Terre Haute, and Evansville.”
