(Evansville, IN) – Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-08) issued the following comment congratulating local students on their acceptance to a U.S. Service Academy.

Congressman Bucshon (IN-08) states:

            “I would like to congratulate the students from Indiana’s 8th District that have been accepted to a U.S. Service Academy.  Answering the call of service to this nation is commendable and shows leadership amongst their peers.  I am honored to have nominated these fine young Hoosiers who should be thanked for volunteering in our armed forces.

The following students received Congressional nominations from Congressman Bucshon and were accepted to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD:

Jacob Morris of Evansville (Evansville Day School)
William Rock of Evansville (Reitz Memorial High School)
Vannara Sakbun of Terre Haute (Terre Haute South Vigo)
