Dr. Bucshon’s Statement on the Death of Capitol Police Officer

(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. (IN-08) released the following statement expressing his condolences for the Capitol Police officer killed as a result of injuries sustained during the events of January 6, 2021:

“My wife, Kathryn and I offer our deepest condolences to the family of the Capitol Police officer, Brian Sicknick who lost his life defending the U.S. Capitol during the riots on January 6, 2021. I am grateful every day for the dedicated officers who protect the Capitol complex, Members of Congress, and thousands of staffers. I have the highest respect for all law enforcement across the nation that choose to put their lives on the line each day so that we may live in a free society. God bless.”
