WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. (IN-08) released the following statement in response to the Senate’s recent passage of a fiscally irresponsible budget that has paved the way for the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion spending blowout. 

“Washington’s spending is out of control. We are currently amidst some of the worst inflation rates in recent memory and the Democrats’ plan to try and spend their way to economic prosperity will only hurt Hoosiers,” said Congressman Bucshon. “Right now, everyday items like groceries, renting a car, gas, and more are skyrocketing due to President Biden’s out-of-control spending. The Senate passage of this budget is moving the country in the wrong direction.”
