Bucshon Holds First Healthy Future Task Force Subcommittee Meeting for Doctor/Patient Relationships

 

WASHINGTON– Today, Chair of the Healthy Future Task Force Subcommittee on Doctor/Patient Relationships, Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. (R-Ind.-08), held the first virtual panel for thesubcommittee.

 

Representative Bucshon was joined by subcommittee members Representatives Greg Murphy, M.D. (R-N.C.-03) and Beth Van Duyne (R-Texas-24) to discuss policy impacting doctor and patient relationships with former Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Seema Verma, Dr. Andrew Tharp from Evansville, Indiana, Dr. John Gill from Dallas, Texas, and Dr. Adam Zolotor from Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

 

“As a doctor, and now a lawmaker, I have seen the real-life impacts of health care policies not putting patients first. As Chair of the Healthy Future Task Force Subcommittee on Doctor/Patient Relationships, I am committed to finding innovative solutions to increase transparency, promotepersonalized patient care, and advance no nonsense policies within America’s health care.
