WASHINGTON – Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. (R-Ind.) released the following statement on the 20th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
“20 years ago, 19 al-Qaeda militants hijacked four planes and proceeded to carry out the worst terrorist attacks that our country has ever seen. That day, nearly 3,000 people were killed at the Pentagon, the World Trade Center, and the Shanksville, Pennsylvania crash site. Today, I join our entire country in remembering the events of that day and honoring the brave heroes who we lost and the true patriots who stepped up in the aftermath to fight for our liberties. May we never forget,” said Congressman Bucshon.
