WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Congressman Larry Bucshon (R-Ind.-08) attended the National Turkey Federation’s official unveiling of the 2021 Presidential Turkeys. At the event, Phil Seger, Chairman of the National Turkey Federation and Vice President of Live Turkey Operations for Farbest Farms, announced the names of the two turkeys to be pardoned during tomorrow’s 74th Presidential Turkey Pardon.

The two turkeys, Peanut Butter and Jelly, were raised in Indiana’s 8th District, on Hoosier farmer and turkey grower Andrea Welp’s farm in St. Anthony under the supervision of Phil Seger and Farbest Farms in Jasper.

“I was thrilled to participate in the unveiling of Peanut Butter and Jelly, the 2021 National Thanksgiving Turkey and alternate, today. Tomorrow, these two turkeys from Southern Indiana will make their White House debut and receive an official pardon from the President of the United States. I want to give a special thanks to the National Turkey Federation, Farbest Foods, Phil Seger, and Andrea Welp for making today possible,” said Congressman Bucshon.
