VIDEO: Bucshon Discusses High Energy Costs at Energy and Commerce Roundtable

A first step towards addressing America’s high energy costs so all Hoosiers can have access to sustainable, affordable, and reliable energy.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Larry Bucshon, M.D. (R-Ind.-08) participated in a roundtable discussion hosted by the Energy and Commerce Committee on addressing high energy costs. Dr. Bucshon, a senior member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, was joined by other Republican Committee members as well as four panelists whose livelihoods have been negatively impacted by the high energy costs perpetrated by the Biden Administration’s anti-energy policies.

“The Biden Administration’s anti-American approach [to energy] has let down my constituents. For the past two years, Hoosiers in Southwest and West Central Indiana have experienced high energy costs… These high costs have impacted businesses across my district – farmers, manufacturers, electricity providers, and small businesses on Main Street have all paid the price of the Biden Administration’s flawed approach to energy,” said Dr. Bucshon during the roundtable discussion.

“This is the beginning of House Republicans on the Energy and Commerce Committee exploring the things Congress can do to improve this situation for all of you all and I very much appreciate your input today at this roundtable,” Dr. Bucshon continued while addressing the panelists.
