Bucshon Supports the Right to Life, Votes to Pass Two Pro-Life Pieces of Legislation

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Larry Bucshon, M.D. (R-Ind.-08) voted to pass H. Con. Res. 3, a resolution that condemns recent attacks on pro-life facilities, groups, and churches and H.R. 26, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

“Today, two critical pieces of legislation demonstrating Republicans’ commitment to protecting the sanctity of life passed out of the House of Representatives. One condemns the heinous attacks on numerous pro-life institutions, and the other seeks to ensure that babies born alive after an attempted abortion receive medical care and legal protection. As a physician for nearly 15 years before coming to Congress, I know just how precious life is, which is why I am proud to help pass these pieces of legislation out of the House,” said Dr. Bucshon.
