(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. (IN-08) released the following statement in observance of Memorial Day:

“On Memorial Day, we pause and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. We must always remember that freedom comes at a heavy price. It has been paid by our mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters who answered the call to defend, and gave their lives in service to our nation. 

 “Today, we remember and honor the service and sacrifice of these heroes and their families. As a nation, let us give thanks for all those that gave their lives, their futures, and their dreams to defended the country we hold so dear.”
