(Washington, D.C.) – The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Head Start program announced a new round of grants for program centers across the nation including $1,699,468 for Dubois-Pike-Warrick Economic Opportunity Committee, Inc. and $5,756,221 for Community Action Program of Evansville & Vanderburgh County Inc.

“I am pleased to announce that the Dubois-Pike-Warrick Economic Opportunity Committee and the Community Action Program of Evansville & Vanderburgh County will receive grants from the Department of the Health and Human Services for their Head Start Programs. These hard-earned taxpayer dollars are much-needed resources that will help prepare young Hoosiers for success.”
