“Moderna’s data showing its vaccine has a 94% efficacy rate is great news in the fight against COVID-19! This vaccine is one of several vaccines and therapeutics being developed as part of Operation Warp Speed. Thanks to this successful public/private partnership, which is an unprecedented effort created by the Trump Administration, we are on the verge of delivering a safe and effective vaccine in less than a year. Operation Warp Speed will continue to show that success when it is time to distribute vaccines, ensuring that we can quickly distribute and administer a vaccine in record time. Until a vaccine is approved and widely available, it is important we keep up the fight against COVID-19 and follow CDC recommendations to wear masks, social distance, wash hands, and stay home if you are sick.”
