Rep. Bucshon distributes valentines to veterans

A media release says U.S. Representative Larry Bucshon, M.D. released a video after collecting thousands of valentines from numerous preschool and elementary schools throughout Indiana’s 8th Congressional District and distributing them to veterans in Southern and West Central Indiana as part of the Valentines for Vets program.

Rep. Bucshon released the following statement:

“At the beginning of this year, my office collected thousands of valentines from schools across Southern and West Central Indiana as part of the Valentines for Vets program. I was honored to help distribute these valentines to Hoosier veterans living in Indiana’s 8th Congressional District. The Valentines for Vets program is one small way we can show our support for our nation’s veterans.”

“I want to thank all the preschool and elementary school students who participated in making valentines to support the brave service and sacrifice of those who have served our nation. These valentines carry more than just words; they carry a message of appreciation and respect. They remind our veterans that their sacrifices have not been forgotten and that they are cherished by a grateful nation.”

“This Valentine’s Day, and every day, may we continue to share our appreciation with those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country.”

Rep. Larry Bucshon represents Indiana’s 8th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives and is a senior member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
