Dr. Bucshon Supports Package to Help America’s Veterans

On Wednesday, the House approved the Conference Report to Accompany H.R. 3230, the Veterans’ Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014. Dr. Bucshon released the following statement after voting for the package: “As a heart surgeon, my top priority was to ensure all my patients received the care they needed when they needed it. When it comes to the brave men and women who have served our country, we should expect no less than the very best care possible. While there is still much work that needs to be done, this bill is an enormous step forward to reform the VA and ensure our veterans receive the care they were promised and that they deserve. I look forward to working with my colleagues to continue our work on this very important issue.” |
