Congressman brings tax relief struggle to Brazil

“In order to best represent my constituents, it is vitally important that I am continually aware of the daily challenges facing Hoosiers. It is encouraging to see small businesses and business owners, both old and new, working hard to achieve their American dream.”

On Friday, Congressman Larry Bucshon walked downtown Brazil accompanied by the mayor and planning administrator.

“Today I walked along National Avenue in downtown Brazil, IN accompanied by Mayor Brian Wyndham and Brazil planning administrator Janet McClellan,” Bucshon said in a written release Friday night. “In order to best represent my constituents, it is vitally important that I am continually aware of the daily challenges facing Hoosiers. It is encouraging to see small businesses and business owners, both old and new, working hard to achieve their American dream.”

During Dr. Bucshon’s visit he met with Robert Hostetler, son of Lynn Hostetler, owners of Lynn’s Pharmacy.

“Robert and his father are small business owners that are being stifled by high taxes and administrative red tape. In the next two weeks, before the year comes to an end, my colleagues and I are going to work hard to reform the broken and outdated tax code that have hurt our economy for far too long. Tax relief will help employers, employees, and consumers to ensure our economy, and Main Street, will be strong and competitive once again.”
