“American families and businesses need affordable energy costs in order to thrive.Our nation has been blessed with abundant and diverse sources of energy, and it’s critical that Americans are able to use these American made sources of energy to power our way of life and our economy and keep costs low.The Obama Administration’sso-called Clean Power Plan was atop-down, one-size-fits-all, jobs-killing regulatory scheme that would have caused energy prices to skyrocket for rate-payers and made it virtually impossible to use certain forms of American-made energy. The Trump Administration’s Affordable Clean Energy rule is a responsible proposal that will protect the environment while also protecting the pocketbooks of American families and businesses from skyrocketing energy prices.”
