On Thursday, Eighth District Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. released the following statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s 4-4 decision to uphold the lower court’s ruling in United States v. Texas:
“The Constitution is crystal clear: the American people, through their elected Representatives, write the laws that govern this country, not the president and unelected bureaucrats in the Executive Branch,” said Bucshon. “I’m happy to see the Supreme Court today reaffirm this fact by upholding the Constitutional separation of powers.”
